How do you get by with setting up a tank for $27.00? I set up a 10 gallon for $90.00 and thaught I got out cheap......

I have no idea! Thats a good point! I just found it on a website...

They are prety cool facts, but yeah it's not really possible to start a tank with $27, I started my 10G with about 70 Euros.

$27 on fish and only fish when setting up their new tank? I bettered that - I started out with 3 Neon Tetras and 3 Rasboras, on sale, for a total of 13$ including tax. Of course, 2 weeks later I doubled my fish count and spent another $13, then a week later I spent another $30. . . Then I spent some more. . . and some more. . . and now my fish are making more fish for me, so I might be OK for a while. . . But I'll need more tanks

I found a fact in an aquarium book. It states.........

The number 1 hobby in the United States is Photography.
The number 2 hobby in the United States is Fish keeping.

I tend to agree with the author of the book that Fish keeping should be number 1. After all if it weren't for all the beautiful fish why would we need to take pictures?

Very true...before people likes to keep dogs but now fishkeeping people are growing.
